THE CALGARY IRISH ARE THE ALBERTA PROVINCIAL 2nd DIVISION CHAMPIONS






October 1st, 2011
This caps a great 2011 senior mens rugby season.  All 3 teams qualified for playoffs, The 3rds reached the Southern Alberta Final and the 2nds became Provincial Champions.  Many Congratulations to all involved in this great effort. 


 

The 2011 AGM will be held at the CCIAC clubhouse on Saturday, March 31st at 11am.

 

All fully paid up members are encouraged to attend and participate in club direction for 2012 and beyond.

Saturday March 17 at the CCIAC Fields
From 10am until its Finished!
 
10 Players per team (2 of which must be women)
All players must be over 16 year’s age
 
7 players per team on the pitch at all times with rolling subs
 
Tries scored by women count double
  Cost $100 per team
Registration starts 10am
 
Games start 11am
 
Prize for First Placed Team
 
Prizes for Best Dressed Players
 
ALL DAY DRINK SPECIALS
    Domestic draft pints      $4
    Guinness draft pints      $5
 
FOOD SPECIAL
Traditional Irish Stew
 
This is a fun non-contact tournament in the spirit of St Patrick’s day
 
First timers and new teams are encouraged, bring your friends and workmates
 
If you don’t have a team just turn up and we will get you on one!
